Fatigue Tests on Elastomer Systems
Mechanical ageing by continuous vibration testing.

Displayed is the line shape of the complex modulus IE*I and the loss factor tan delta during a fatigue test (continuous vibration test). In this case a dynamic test on a shear sample has been carried out. The sample was dynamically loaded with 35 Hz at a test temperature of 60 °C (total cycles: more than 1.5 Mio.). Due to the high force and amplitude range of the EPLEXOR®, materials can be dynamically stressed even in the low temperature region.
